In 2025, we’re proud to announce a deeply meaningful partnership with Doctors Without Borders (MSF) to support their humanitarian mission in one of today’s most devastating conflicts: the war in Sudan.
The scale of the conflict in Sudan
Since April 2023, the war in Sudan has created a catastrophic humanitarian situation. Over 8 million people have been displaced, and the healthcare system is on the verge of collapse. Cities like Khartoum, Omdurman, and El Geneina have endured intense fighting, while Darfur has seen widespread attacks and mass displacements.
Doctors Without Borders, present in Sudan since 1979, works to provide primary and hospital care, treat child malnutrition, respond to disease outbreaks, and assist displaced populations.
Our commitment: doubling the impact of your donations
At Sènia, we believe in the power of solidarity. That’s why, throughout 2025, every donation made during the reservation process at our campsites was dedicated to supporting humanitarian projects run by organisations committed to people’s well-being.
And most importantly: Sènia doubled every euro donated by our guests, multiplying the impact of each generous gesture.
Together, we raised €35,223.72!
Thanks to the generosity of our campers and the matching commitment from Grup Sènia, we raised a total of €35,223.72.
Of that amount, €31,419.72 was donated to Doctors Without Borders, reinforcing their work in Sudan and along its borders. The remainder was donated to other equally committed local social projects.
MSF will use the funds as part of their €149 million humanitarian budget for 2025. €100 million will be allocated to operations inside Sudan, and €49 million to aid in Chad and South Sudan, where large refugee communities are concentrated
