If you are in Tossa de Mar, you cannot miss a visit to the Santa Clotilde Gardens, in Lloret de Mar. These 1919 gardens were commissioned by the Marquis of Roviralta to the young architect Nicolau Maria Rubió.
With an area of almost 27,000 m2, these gardens are located on a cliff between the
Boadella cove and Fenals beach. While overlooking the sea, it is also a privileged place where rich vegetation of the garden combines with the blue of the Mediterranean to offer enchanting landscapes.
Maintaining this garden is a year-round job. The plants found here are species typical of the Mediterranean, such as lime trees, cypresses or pines. In order to keep it in bloom all year round, the garden has a multitude of varieties, carefully chosen and alternated according to the season.
Between Cupid, Venus and mermaids, strolling through the Santa Clotilde Gardens is an enchanted and timeless parenthesis.
