At 100x100 half, there are three main factors on which the competition is based:
- The environment: Empuriabrava is one of the most spectacular cities in Catalonia. This is the main reason why we chose this destination to host the competition.
- The triathlete: Here, you are the protagonist and the entire organization is focused on making sure our athletes have fun.
- No overcrowding: Everyone needs their space and in this competition, we work to ensure that the rules are always respected and the essence of this incredible sport is palpable.
As for the location of the competition, as mentioned above, we must highlight the environment, especially Empuriabrava. It is a beautiful coastal town on the Costa Brava in Spain, in the province of Girona. It is only 40 minutes by car from the French border and is known for its impressive navigable canals, which have earned it the nickname "the Spanish Venice."
One of the biggest attractions of Empuriabrava are its beaches, which offer crystal-clear water and a variety of water sports activities. The main beach, Platja d'Empuriabrava, is a wide sandy beach with shallow water, ideal for families with children.

Characteristics of the race
On May 18th and 20st, the 100x100 Empuriabrava will take place in an incomparable setting, with safe and non-crowded circuits. How far are you willing to run? If you don't know yet, here are the different options to participate in the race:
- First, the Sprint distance: 750m swimming; 20K cycling; 5K running.
- Second, there is the Olympic Distance: 1.5K swimming; 40K cycling; 10K running.
- You can also prepare for the Half distance: 1.9K swimming; 90K cycling; 21K running.
- Aquabike M distance: 1.5K swimming; 40K cycling
- Finally, one of our athletes' favorite races, the Aquabike L distance: 1.9K swimming; 90K cycling.
