The Butterfly Park is more than a butterfly garden: it is a tropical garden full of fascinating exotic animals, from butterflies, obviously, to turtles, parrots, toucans, and many more animals..

The butterfly garden of Empuriabrava over 20 years old and is one of the largest ones in Europe, with 2000 m2 of greenhouse. They recreate a tropical jungle, the ideal environment for the species of butterflies, birds and other animals that they have there.

Both children and adults will be delighted to discover the wonderful world of butterflies, their process and their life. And of course, the Atlas butterfly, originally from Asia, the largest nocturnal species in the world, will surprise you with its almost 30 centimeters wingspan.

The park is also a shelter, especially for birds that come from captive breeding or from individuals who could not take care of them. The park's mission is to make the public aware of what it means to take care of an exotic bird at home, which is never ideal for birds, as they need space beyond a cage.
