Outdoor cooking without complications
Camping cooking doesn’t have to be limited. With good organisation, you can prepare delicious and varied dishes even if you only have a camping gas stove, a portable hob or a gas camping cooker.
For those staying in a tent or on a pitch, at most Sènia campsites you can rent a barbecue, or it may even be included with your accommodation. You can check this in the description of each accommodation or with the campsite before your arrival. Almost all our bungalows or mobile homes come with a fully equipped kitchen.
The key is to plan ahead: knowing what utensils to bring, what products to buy and what can be stored without electricity.
Basic utensils you shouldn’t forget

Good organisation starts with knowing what equipment you have. Cooking in a tent is not the same as cooking in a fully equipped bungalow. This planner helps you anticipate the essentials for each situation.
If you’re travelling in a tent or on a pitch
You’ll need to bring your own basic camping cooking equipment. Here’s the must-have list:
- Portable gas stove or hob
- Portable cooler (with ice packs)
- Non-stick frying pan and small saucepan
- Chopping board and chef’s knife
- Spatula, ladle, tin opener
- Cutlery, reusable plates and cups
- Tea towels, sponge, zip-lock bags, aluminium foil
- Lighter or matches
These utensils are designed to prepare all the easy camping meals suggested in the planner, even with limited means.
If you’re staying in a bungalow or mobile home
In this type of accommodation, you already have a kitchen equipped with:
- Hobs (gas or electric)
- Frying pan and saucepan
- Fridge
But it’s worth bringing or ensuring you have:
- Chopping board
- Sharp knife
- Spatula or ladle
- Airtight containers
- Basic cleaning utensils (tea towels, sponge, zip bags, aluminium foil, etc.)
And if you’re travelling in a camper…

Make it even easier with our welcome packs

At Sènia, we make it simple for you: you can book your First Day Pack, Simple Pack or Family Pack.
They include essentials that are always handy when you arrive: water, milk, capsule coffee, bread, butter, oil, pasta or rice, biscuits, cold meats, savoury and sweet snacks… and much more!
The packs can be added at the time of booking, during check-in or directly from our app (Android or Apple), and they’ll be waiting for you in your accommodation so you don’t have to rush to the supermarket.
Available at Cala Gogo Internacional, Caballo de Mar and Cala Canyelles.
Eat well even on holiday
Being on holiday doesn’t mean eating badly or boring food. On the contrary: it’s the perfect time to enjoy tasty, balanced meals that respect your eating habits, even if you follow a camping vegetarian or gluten free camping diet.
This planner is designed so that each meal is:
- Easy to prepare with limited resources
- Balanced: a mix of proteins, carbs and vegetables
- Summer-friendly: fresh dishes at midday and hot dishes in the evening
- Based on accessible, local products

And speaking of fresh ingredients…
Meal planning is also a chance to discover local flavours.
Why not take advantage of your surroundings and shop directly at local markets?
Support local trade

Camping holidays are also a way to connect with your surroundings. Visiting the market, discovering seasonal fruit and vegetables, meeting producers… these are experiences that enrich your holiday.
At our Sènia campsites, you’re surrounded by opportunities to shop locally.

Buying fresh, local produce is not only tastier, it also allows you to:
- Eat healthier without effort
- Support the local economy
- Reduce waste and packaging
Planning your meals well during the holidays doesn’t mean following a strict schedule or cooking every day. On the contrary, it helps you reduce stress, save money and eat better…
But let’s not forget that we’re on holiday! Planning your meals makes everyday life easier… but there’s also room for pleasure. Going out for dinner one evening, sharing tapas, having a drink by the sea or being surprised by the menu at our Sènia restaurants is also part of the experience.
To help you find that balance between organisation and pleasure, here are the three menus from the planner, designed for all diets and adapted to summer.
